We had an older version and I had to use a large safety pin to make it tight as it did sleep down. You can also try to fool with using too small mirrors, but that gets complicated. I attached mine using the forward facing carseat attachment. I am not sure if I have missed if she is in the middle or not, if not then it gets tricky!

I think would work if she is not in the middle, or if you do not have forward facing tether attachments.
